LETTER NAME TAGS :These punch out name tags are designed to be posted on the alphabet strip letters to provide students with a spelling for each letter’s name. This concept provides concrete meaningful explanations of names vs. sound confusion. Explanations for this mnemonic are found in the Stevenson Lonely Vowels Manual and the Basic Blue Manual. This would also be a highly helpful addition to regular education classrooms as emerging readers begin to explore the differences between names and sounds or the jobs letters do.

PBJ/L-C GREEN BEGINNING LEVEL ACTIVITY CENTER (MINI DISPLAY BOARDS)
This kit contains two white cardboard mini display boards, color printed components consisting of peanut butter, jelly, bread, thick bread, cake, crunchy cake filling, 2 frostings, thick cake and marmalade along with letters and Velcro. A picture is provided to help in assembling the components so they may be used to create group and/or individual centers. Students will receive practice in spelling PBJ and L-C words as directed by the teacher.
